On April 3, members of the delegation of the General Confederation of Labor of France represented by Boris Platzi, Head of the External Relations Department of the General Confederation of Labor of France, Fabien Rouchy, Member of the Bureau of the General Confederation of Labor of France, and Renata Kutas, Advisor to the General Confederation of Labor of France, visited Syunik region, met with representatives of the trade union, which is part of the Branch Republican Union of Trade Unions of Miners, Metallurgists and Jewelers, and workers of the industry. An active discussion took place on the changes in working conditions of workers as a result of climate change, the problems that have arisen and possible ways to solve them.
On April 4, the members of the delegation visited the Department of "Improvement of the Armavir Community of the Armavir Region of the Republic of Armenia" and the intensive gardens of the Artamet community. A meeting with the director and trade union activists was held in the department "Improvement of the Armavir Community of the Armavir Region of the Republic of Armenia". A number of issues that arose during the work of employees were discussed, and the chairman of the trade union of the organization spoke about the work done and the upcoming work. The owner of intensive gardens in the Artamet community especially noted the problem with irrigation water in the community, which is of paramount importance for the entire region.
