The workshop on preventing and eradication violence and harassment in the workplace

As part of the International Labor Organization’s “Together promoting the realization of labor rights in Armenia” program, on June 21, the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia held a seminar aimed at preventing and eradicating violence and harassment in the workplace, which was attended by members of the Committee on Equality in Labor Relations and other guests .
The seminar was conducted by ILO consultant Helena Perez, who told participants about the relevance of ILO Convention No. 190, the methodology of possible steps to implement an effective system to combat violence and harassment.
 Deputy Chairman of the CTUA  Tiruhi Nazaretyan made a welcoming speech, in which she noted the importance of ratifying ILO Convention No. 190 in order to create more decent working conditions in the Armenian labor market.
