The guest of the program “Herankar” was the President of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia , Elen Manaseryan

On the occasion of the International Day of Labor and Workers, program “Herankar”  hosted the President of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia Elen Manaseryan. They touched upon statistical data on registered jobs and unemployment in Armenia, the protection of workers’ rights, the results of the “Minimum Wage and Socio-Economic Realities in the Republic of Armenia” study, the unequal distribution of the labor market, in particular the fact that almost the entire economy, institutions and enterprises are concentrated in Yerevan.
“This is a problem for the Republic of Armenia, this is a strategic, security problem, because if we centralize everything in Yerevan, we are emptying our villages, especially those villages that are of vital importance to us,” said Elen Manaseryan.
