On March 31, Elen Manaseryan, the President of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia, hosted Per Lindberg, Program Manager of the Swedish Public Employment Service, Karl-Martin Andersson, the Head of International Development Cooperation at the Swedish Migration Agency, Elen Blank, Senior Advisor on Digital Services, and Advisor Joachim Enger, Adviser.
Karl-Martin Andersson, Head of International Development Cooperation, thanked for the hospitality and presented the details of the project, which will be implemented jointly with the Unified Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
Having attached particular importance to the position of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia regarding the expected results upon completion of the program, Karl-Martin Andersson especially emphasized the fact that the meeting with the leadership of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia is the first in a series of further meetings with social partners.
Ara Ghahramanyan, Coordinator of the Trade Union Organization of Internally Displaced Persons with Refugee Status “Veratsnund”, was also present at the meeting. He spoke about the main problems and differences in professional qualifications on the path to integration into the labor market for internally displaced persons from the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
The President of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia Elen Manaseryan thanked the guests for their work aimed at creating more favorable working conditions for working people of the Republic of Armenia, expressing hope that through such meetings and joint work, everything possible must be done to improve the working conditions of people internally displaced from the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.
