On May 6-8, the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia, with the support of the International Labor Organization, held a three-day seminar in Tsakhkadzor for members of the trade union of forcibly displaced persons with refugee status “Renaissance”.
The purpose of the seminar was to familiarize members of the trade union organization “Renaissance” with the existing unemployment programs and develop steps aimed at assessing the employment needs of forcibly displaced persons with refugee status and comparing available specialists with the needs of the labor market. Participants also got acquainted with the changing requirements of the RA labor market.
The seminar was attended by the President of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia Elen Manaseryan, the chief specialist of the program coordination department of the Unified Social Service of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Armenia Anahit Karapetyan, and the coordinator of the activities of the trade union organization “Renaissance” Ara Ghagramanyan.
