On April 3, 2026, a meeting was held between Esma Simonyan, Chairwoman of Branch Republican Trade Union of Workers of Culture of Armenia, and the management and workers of the Armavir Regional Library.  During the meeting, librarians presented the results of their diverse activities and touched upon the successes achieved in recent years: the enrichment of the book fund, the growth of the number of readers, the increase in the involvement of readers in organized events, the holding of events aimed at the education and upbringing of the younger generation, and future programs.
The chairwoman of the branch union donated around 70 books of Armenian and Russian classical literature, as well as European literature, from her personal library to the regional library.
A proposal was made to further strengthen ties with the branch republican union, to hold meetings more frequently, and to enhance direct communication and interaction.
The meeting took place in a warm and cordial atmosphere, with the expectation of repeating such encounters in the future.
