On November 10, President of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia Elen Manaseryan hosted Regional Secretary of IndustriALL Global Union Vadim Borisov and President of the Trade Union of Chemical Industries and Energy Resources Workers of the Federation of Trade Unions of the Republic of Moldova Margarita Srestyan.
 The meeting was attended by Deputy President of the CTUA Tiruhi Nazaretyan, Chairman of the Branch  Association "Electroprofsoyuz" Karine Aloyan, Chairman of the Republican Branch Union of trade union organizations of miners, metallurgists and jewelers Eduard Pakhlevanyan.
 The participants of the meeting discussed the challenges facing the trade unions in Armenia, such as climate change, "Just Transition", creation of "green" jobs.
During the meeting the importance of the Just Transition Program which is being implemented to build the capacity of trade unions was discussed and which will provide brave and positive approaches in protecting workers rights. Higher-paid and safer work, a higher level of social protection will guarantee the formation of a society in which, based on a social dialogue, every worker can count on fair pay for his work and protection of labor rights.
