Dear workers, trade union members, and colleagues,
I warmly congratulate you on the occasion of May 1 — International Workers’ Solidarity Day.
This day symbolizes the dignity of working people, solidarity, the struggle for the protection of rights, and the pursuit of social justice. May 1 reminds us that at the foundation of society and state development stands the individual — with their work, knowledge, experience, and dedication. Today, we express our sincere gratitude to all workers of our country — doctors, teachers, representatives of industry, agriculture, services, transport, information technology, and many other sectors, whose daily work drives our economy and ensures the normal functioning of public life.
At the same time, this day is also an opportunity to once again raise the issues faced by workers in Armenia. Decent work, fair remuneration, safe working conditions, social protection, and the full realization of labor rights continue to remain at the forefront of our agenda.
We are convinced that a strong state is possible only when the working person is valued and protected. Economic development should be reflected not only in figures, but also in the improvement of people’s quality of life, stable employment, and confidence in the future.
The Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia will continue to consistently defend workers’ rights, promote social dialogue, and contribute to the creation of an environment where every citizen has the opportunity for decent work.
I wish you peace, health, well-being, and new professional achievements.
Happy May 1!
