We held consultations with the members of the Presidium regarding the targeted use of the funds allocated for the implementation of programs proposed by the CTUA member branch unions.
Taking into account that many of our members participated in various seminars organized by the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia in the previous and current years, and considering the suggestions and wishes of union members, we decided to allocate the funds for organizing two events — visits to Armenia’s sightseeing locations, while at the same time spending enjoyable weekends together.
Thus, in September, we organized an excursion to the sights of Dilijan, including Haghartsin Monastery, Goshavank, and Lake Parz. For the participants, refreshments were organized twice at the “Kesab” Restaurant in Dilijan.
According to the presented program, in October we organized another interesting weekend for representatives of organizations affiliated with the branch union — a visit to Khor Virap, followed by an excursion to the picturesque Vayots Dzor region, including Noravank Monastery. During the day, we also visited the unique “Areni-1 Cave” (Birds’ Cave) in Yeghegnadzor, and refreshments were again organized twice for the participants.
We believe that the weekends were both meaningful and memorable.
The additional expenses for the events were covered by the funds of the Branch Republican Union of Trade Unions.
