On July 18, 2026, members of the Council of the Branch Republican Trade Union of Workers of Culture of Armenia, along with several other trade union activists, visited Dilijan to hold an off-site meeting of the Council of the Branch Republican Union and spend a one-day summer retreat.
According to the prior arrangement, the trade union representatives were welcomed at the Dilijan State College of Arts by the college director H. Mkrtumyan and Anahit Hovakimyan, Chairperson of the Trade Union Organization of Cultural Workers of the Dilijan area.
After the off-site meeting held at the college, the participants went to the “Qesab” restaurant, where they had the opportunity to get acquainted, communicate with one another, and discuss culture, trade union activities, and current issues.
Afterwards, they visited the Haghartsin Monastery Complex and Goshavank. The participants learned about the rich history of these medieval monuments, their role and significance in the development of Armenian culture, enjoyed the beauty of these historical sites, took photographs, and returned to Yerevan late in the evening.
