Call for Applications for the Selection of a Civil Society Platform Representative under the EU–Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA)

According to Article 366 of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (hereinafter CEPA) signed between the Republic of Armenia and the European Union, a Civil Society Platform (hereinafter CSP)  is to be established, composed of representatives of the civil society of the European Union — including the European Economic and Social Committee — and representatives of the civil society of the Republic of Armenia, including trade union and employer organizations operating in Armenia. The first election of the representatives of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia took place in March 2022.

Starting from January 1, 2026, a new, revised composition is expected to be formed for an additional three-year term. The Executive Committee of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia invites applications for membership in the Platform.

Only representatives of trade union organizations — at all levels — who have been active in trade unions and/or in any of the areas defined by CEPA during the last two years and have published reports are eligible for election.

A trade union candidate wishing to participate in the elections (hereinafter Applicant) must submit the required documents (hereinafter Documents) and provide the necessary contact information for communication by 18:00 on December 5, 2025 to Tiruhi Nazaretyan, Vice President of the CTUA — either in person at Yerevan, Vazgen Sargsyan 26/3, Office 401, or via email at [email protected].

Candidates are selected using a 5-point scoring system.

If any deficiencies are found as a result of the verification of the submitted documents, the candidate will be asked to correct them within one working day. Information about the date and venue of the selection of candidates will be provided on the official website of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia through an announcement. The list of requirements and documents submitted to candidates to participate in the competition is below:
