On  January 28, 2023 the first meeting of the Commission on Equality in Labor Relations of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia took place.
Elen Manaseryan, President of the CTUA delivered a welcoming speech.
At the meeting elections were held for the chairman and deputy chairmen of the commission.
Liana Amiraghyan (Republican Union of Professional Organizations of Trade and Catering Workers, Consumer Cooperatives and Entrepreneurship) was nominated as the only candidate for the position of the Chairman of the Commission on Equality in Labor Relations of the CTUA, which, as a result of an open vote, was unanimously elected as the Chairman.
Vahagn Melikyan (Branch Republican Union of Trade Unions of Health Workers) and Valya Vardanyan ( Branch Republican Union of Trade Unions of Public Utilities, Housing and  Services Workers) were elected  Vice-Chairmen by open voting.
Following the results of the elections, the newly elected Chairman of the Commission on Equality in Labor Relations L. Amiraghyan thanked for the trust and assured that the commission would work to reduce discrimination and unequal treatment in labor relations as much as possible. The closing speech was made by the President of the CTUA  Elen Manaseryan and the head of the Training and Research Center of the CTUA Varduhi Brutyan, who congratulated the members of the commission and wished them effective work.
