On October 4, 2023, the President  of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia, Elen Manaseryan, visited children forcibly displaced from Artsakh, which are located in the Vardenis community (Vardenis city and villages) of Gegharkunik region and the village of Tsapatakh Chambarak community and  study in grades 1-6.
We thank Karine Asatryan, chairman of the territorial union of professional organizations of education and science workers of the Vardenis region, for her organizational work in the communities.
As of October 3, 2023, 223 displaced children from Artsakh live in the Vardenis community, of which 133 are of school age, 90 are preschool children. 63 children were admitted to schools in the district.
