Joint meeting of civil society platforms

On September 11, 2023, in Brussels at the European Economic and Social Committee  a  meeting  of  civil society platforms with the  representatives of  Armenia, Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine was held. The meeting was attended by Anna Barikyan, lawyer of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Armenia, member of the EU-Armenia civil society platform.  During the panel discussion the participation of trade unions in the decision-making process at the national level was presented.  The participants of the meeting were informed  about violations of the right to work and life of workers in the border settlements of the Republic of Armenia due to the ongoing aggression of Azerbaijan.
